The Connect SmartHome 4G Dual Camera with Solar Panel is designed for caravans, sheds, farms, worksites, driveways and other locations where standard Wi-Fi coverage may not reach. It connects through available 4G mobile networks and lets you view live footage, receive motion alerts and access event recordings through the Connect SmartHome app.

Flexible monitoring for remote outdoor spaces

The fixed upper camera helps detect motion events, while the lower pan-and-tilt camera provides a separate view that can be repositioned through the app. This makes the camera suitable for monitoring entrances, driveways, equipment, caravans, rural buildings and outdoor areas where a conventional Wi-Fi camera may not be practical.

The camera includes mobile data for the first year. After the included period, additional data can be purchased using the unique recharge QR code supplied with the camera. Keep the QR code card in a safe place because it is specific to the individual device.

Compatibility and setup

This camera uses the Connect SmartHome app and works on Android 6.0 or later and iOS 13.0 or later. It connects using 4G mobile networks only and does not support Wi-Fi.

Before installation, fully charge the camera, insert a compatible microSD card if recording is required, download the Connect SmartHome app and pair the camera by scanning its unique QR code. Install the camera upright in an area with strong 4G coverage and position the solar panel where it can receive direct sunlight.

The camera and solar panel are IP65 rated for dust and rain resistance but must not be submerged. Solar charging performance depends on sunlight, weather, shade, season and mounting position, so additional USB charging may occasionally be required.
